For the very first time the Southeast Europe Innovation Summit was held in Belgrade on 02-03 October, organized by Bridgeway Company – startup accelerator.
Partner Vuk Drašković gave a brief presentation of legal framework in Serbia from the perspective of investors, corporations, startups and government. He was also one of the panelists on the panel “How to foster Innovation – open ecosystem: Investors, Corporations, Startups, Government”, with Danijela Pejić as a moderator. Danijela is an economic officer at the Embassy of Israel in Serbia, and Israel is known as a startup nation. As a small country, with roughly 7.6 million people it has approximately 4,800 startup companies and attracts far more venture capital per person than any other country in the world. Other participants of the panel were Nenad Moslavac, co-founder and director of Impact Hub Belgrade and Vuk Kosovac, executive marketing director of Societe Generale Bank Serbia.
The SEE Innovation Summit was a unique opportunity to discover many innovative solutions, discuss the latest tech trends, connect with peers, and make new business decisions.
