The National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia has recently adopted the Law on Termination of Effectiveness of the Law on Special Procedures for the Implementation of Projects for the Construction and Reconstruction of Line Infrastructure Facilities of Special Importance for the Republic of Serbia (Zakon o prestanku važenja Zakona o posebnim postupcima radi realizacije projekata izgradnje i rekonstrukcije linijskih infrastrukturnih objekata od posebnog značaja za Republiku Srbiju, “Official Gazette of RS”, no. 62/2023). This marks the end of the application of the lex specialis, and all future proceedings will be conducted under the general legal framework. Projects that were already initiated during the validity of the lex specialis will be concluded by applying the provisions of this law, ensuring consistency in the implementation of ongoing projects.
